Badges

Access to the scientific sessions will only be possible with your personal badge which you will receive at the registration desk. Please always wear your badge!

Cloakroom

A cloakroom is available on the ground floor during the secretariat opening hours and can be used free of charge. The cloakroom is not supervised.

Currency

All official meeting prices are indicated in Swiss Francs (CHF). The currency in Switzerland is Swiss Francs
(1 € = 1, 21 CHF as per 2013). All major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and shops.

Exhibition

The vendor exhibition with companies presenting state of the art technology and solutions is located in Hall 4.1 of the Congress Center Basel.

Exhibition Opening Hours

Opening hours of the exhibition are subject to changes in the scientific program.

Insurance

The meeting organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of property belonging to congress participants or their accompanying persons, either during, or as a result of the meeting.

Internet Corner

Several internet terminals are located in the exhibition area and are available to all congress participants during the opening hours of the exhibition.

Language

The congress language is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.

Lunch and Coffee Breaks

Coffee and drinks are free of charge and are available in the exhibition area during the official opening hours. Lunch is also available free of charge from 12:00 – 13:30 during the conference days in the exhibition area.

Poster Session

The scientific poster session takes place on Wednesday, 25 September 2013 from 17:00 – 18:00 in the Congress Center Basel.

Welcome Reception

On Tuesday, 24 September 2013 a Welcome Reception will take place at 17:00 in the Hall 4.1 of Congress Center Basel (exhibition area). All MipTec 2013 delegates are invited to participate in the Welcome Reception.
